From snow to sand...

Now that we're in California for the holidays, we've got the beach instead of snow! Kelsi, Kimberly, and Rebekah walking towards the surf.

Lots of snow has come down today.. giving me a minute at home to post photos! Bekah's in the pink jacket, Kimberly in the yellow, and if you can't figure out who Kelsi is, you really shouldn't be reading my blog. hee hee hee...
Below, the non-snow photos: brushing their teeth, Bekah with a fruit snack soul patch/goatee, and Kimberly popping out of a box.

Trick-or-Treat!

We made our first attempt at Trick-or-Treating at my office today... let's just say the chocolate melted with Kimberly's death grip on it she was so shy with my co-workers. Kimberly's the giraffe and Bekah's the elephant. We'll see how tonight goes...

Meema & Aunt Vikki went to Iceland...

... and brought us warm new hats! The girls picked which color they wanted, no fighting whatsoever (yet). Kimberly in blue and Bekah in red. These will be great for cold mornings walking Kelsi to school!

Crickets!

This shows our routine of reading in bed before naps and bedtime. They love Daddy reading to them! You can also see how they got to hold their first cricket in the backyard. (They switched outfits in the two pictures, so in bed Kimberly is wearing the brown shirt, while holding the cricket, it's Bekah in brown.)

2nd Birthday Pictures!

For the first time ever they fell asleep in their high chairs. This was on their birthday after nap time since they didn't nap well. Over Labor Day weekend we got their toddler beds setup and they are out of their cribs. They're doing well at night sleeping, but naps are still shorter than they need. Hence, high chair napping... They enjoyed their birthday cupcakes (and cards)! I'm also sneaking in a photo of all three girls that we took this week.

Riding the ferry boats!

Bekah is in the pink dress, Kimberly is in the striped dress. On the ferry over Labor Day weekend to get to Aunt Clare's wedding!

2-year Check-up

Kimberly is now 26.9 pounds and 34.6 inches tall. In weight she's closer to 50th percentile, but in height she's just under 75th. Rebekah is our bruiser at 28 pounds and 35 inches - solidly over 75th percentile in both. (If they stay around the 75th line - which Kelsi is at as well - they're projected to be 5'-6"). They're both happy, healthy, and most definitely TWO!

Daddy moved them into toddler beds this week, and they've been doing well so far. Definitely not happy the first few nights, but it dropped off quickly. I think they're happy to be able to snuggle with each other. More news and photos soon...

Thanks Aunt Vikki!

Bekah's on the left in the pink and Kimberly is on the right in the blue. (That's Aunt Vikki in the middle).

May means garden time!

They still love their spaghetti and red sauce. Bekah wearing Daddy's sweatshirt when he was gone. She loves to put on clothes! And then... we get to the garden. Kimberly learning what the different crops are from Daddy, trying to do some weeding, watching Daddy water the new veggie plants, trying to dress the part in their overalls - Farmer Daddy and his Farmer Girls.

April Photos

These are some photos from April... The girls got a new slide which they LOVE, they couldn't decide who got to go down, but evenutally figured out Kimberly and then Bekah. Bekah's in the pink bathing suit preferring to stand in front of the warm dryer vents than to actually go in the water. Kimberly's got the big smile in her sun hat. Uncle James playing with the girls. Kimberly & Bekah at the park near Aunt Vikki and Uncle James' house. Helping us fill our moving boxes. Kimberly went through a week or two when she would try to stick her Cheerios on her face, so we'd help her and she's try to figure out what we did to make it work.
