It's Autumn!

I took the girls out on a trip to Snoqualmie Falls yesterday...

Big Girl Bikes!

On Sunday, the girls tried out their bikes without training wheels and with pedals and went right to it! They were animals at the park!

So yesterday - for day two - we took them on a bigger bike path. They made it about 3 miles and did great!

Catching Up! Labor Day & 5th Birthday

We got to go to Aunt Teri & Uncle Brady's beach house in Oregon over Labor Day weekend to help celebrate the girls' 5th birthday!

We took a day trip up to Tillamook and checked out the air museum in an old World War II blimp hanger.

They loved the engine room!

And the old flight simulators that they could sit in!

After the air museum was the cheese factory!

We also got a chance to see a few sunsets when it wasn't overcast. GORGEOUS!

Each of the girls picked out what type of cake they wanted, helped bake each other's cake, and then got to decorate their own cakes. Bekah had chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, Kimberly picked strawberry cake with vanilla frosting. Yum!

Catching Up! August 2011

August brings the Blue Angels near our house. This year we went to watch them take off from Boeing Field!

The next day we went to our usual spot to watch on the I-90 bridge.

We camped again at Mt. Rainier! This time near Paradise... still snow in late August!

Bekah liked being Daddy's fire helper. She liked the fire crumbs (sparks).

With school coming, the girls wanted to practice their letters...

We took a road trip down to see Grandma Sue in California!
First stop... Crater Lake! Bekah had to get another snowball to hold.
