Almost walking!

So Bekah has 6 teeth now (top 4, bottom 2) and Kimberly just 4 (top two, bottom two). We'll see who gets the next tooth, though it might be Kimberly since her next 2 top ones seem close to breaking through. Bekah is the closest to walking on her own at the moment, though that doesn't mean too much since Kimberly could just up and walk any time she feels ready. They still love to cruise around the furniture, toys, baby gates... anytime they have hands to hold to walk them around they RUN. FAST. My theory on why they're not walking yet is because they'll go straight to running, and they know their parents aren't ready for that yet. Besides the fact that they're 11 months old and it's not required yet, so we're not pushing the issue. They have their favorite toys, they love to take baths, they still go to bed at 6pm and sleep until pretty close to 6am. I just started trying yogurt with them and so far Bekah's not spitting anything up, so that's progress! Kimberly did have Roseola last week when Grandma Sue was visiting, but she was a trouper and it actually went pretty quick. Not sure how Bekah didn't get it since it's a virus and they share everything, but we're not going to complain about that one.

Okay.. picture time! Some of these are from our trip down to Grandma Sue's house and some are from hanging out at home. Their first walk on a beach, reading with Meema (Kimberly's in her lap), Bekah and Nanny saying hello!

The Blue Angels came to town.. Bekah slept through them even though they flew right over our heads a few times. There's something to be said for having them fly at nap time? Of course, they got to hear and feel them last year, but they were still inside the belly at the time. Kimberly did really well for how loud they were, she didn't fall asleep, but just snuggled up to Mommy. (oh darn!)

Bekah reading about colors, Kimberly reading about things that go, reading together (they love to play together), Kimberly out blackberry picking with her favorite duck, and then after all that hard work, they get to go on the swings!

Between Mommy and Daddy the girls get to go on a walk everyday, and we try to get them out onto the grass and into the swings as much as time/energy allows. I have some more photos from my camera (these are all from Grandma Sue's), but I'll save those for another post.

P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA SUE!
